ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Pete Fornatale started his career in radio at Fordham University, New York, in 1963, and soon became one of the architects of progressive FM radio. He presented a weekly show until his untimely death in April 2012 and wrote several books, including the musical histories Back to the Garden: The Story of Woodstock and Simon & Garfunkel’s Bookends, both in collaboration with his son, Peter Thomas Fornatale. He received numerous awards for his work, including the coveted Armstrong Award for Excellence in Musical Programming and an AMEE Lifetime Achievement Award in broadcasting. 50 Licks is his last book.
ABOUT THE COAUTHORS
Bernard M. Corbett (left) is the radio voice of Boston University hockey and Harvard University football. He is the author and coauthor of fifteen books. He lives in Stoneham, Massachusetts, and is a lifelong Rolling Stones fan.
Peter Thomas Fornatale (right) is a freelance writer and editor who lives in Brooklyn, New York. His favorite Rolling Stone is Charlie Watts.
